Three Shooting Incidents Are Now Being Probed.

Three shootings are now being investigated. there have been two fatalities as a result and one man is in a critical condition. reports say at around 7:30 last evening Marcus Patterson of #17 Beetham gardens was at a function in the area when a vehicle pulled up to the house. Two occupants then reportedly alighted the vehicle and opened fire. Mr. Patterson and Julain Mc Donald were hit. They were then taken to the Port of Spain general hospital Mr. Patterson was pronounced dead on arrival. Mr Julian was treated and transferred to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences complex where he remains warded under police guard.The other killing took place at around 5:15 this morning. It is said a man of African descent was discovered lying at the front of the George Street Health Center in Port of Spain. Investigators say he bore a single gunshot wound to the head police say he is only identified as copperhead Port of Spain homicide officers are investigating both incidents. And in Couva around 11:25 last evening Beresford Asoong of bank village Caripichima was walking outside the Couva district hospital when he was approached by three men. It is said the men then fired shots at Mr. Asoong when he ran. Reports say the men assailants then chased Mr. Asoong to the compound of the facility where they again opened fire. He was shot several times about the body including the head. Mr Asoong was treated and transferred to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex where he is listed in a critical condition. Police are yet to establish a motive for the shooting.
