Belmont Man Struck and Killed By Police Vehicle

Stanley Fraser 53 was crossing Jerningham Avenue in Belmont when he was hit by
the vehicle driven by a constable. Mister Fraser was taken to hospital where he
died.
The accident is reproted to have occurred on Saturday evening shortly before
nine o’clock. Mister Fraser lived at De Castro lane in Belmont.
He died at the port of spain general hospital two hours after the crash. An
investigation is to be launched in to accident the assurance comes from the
police officers associaton.
President of the association Emrol Bruce said the incident will be investigated,
mr Bruce also extends condolenses to mr Fraser’s family.
